Using a revolutionary design, the SMART-DRIVE can actually support up to (7) devices at any given time. Our Engineering Team used brackets specifically designed to stack together, providing for a hot swappable solution. Constructed of Heavy-Duty Steel, the internal bracket of the SMART-DRIVE supports a 3.5" HDD bay. The addition of the second bracket provides users with either a Slim CD ROM solution or (2) 2.5" HDD's. The most impressive of the SMART-DRIVE's features comes standard with each unit, a Compact Flash Socket, (2) USB 2.0 Ports, (1) IEEE-1394 Connector, Line-IN, Line-OUT, and MIC connectors are all located on the front panel of the SMART-DRIVE. In cases where internal temperatures are a concern, the unique design of the SMART-DRIVE allows for effective heat dissipation. With standard 5.25" mounting holes and +5VDC/+12VDC power requirements, the SMART-DRIVE truly can be integrated into any solution!
