AICSYS, Inc., Taipei, Taiwan has again proved its design capability by introducing its new concept product WMC-301B, for ATM (Automatic Teller Machine) and KIOSK to the industrial market. The WMC-301B, is a 3-slot mini “shoe-box” wall-mountable industrial chassis measuring only 280(W) x 90(H) x 225(D) mm. Within its compact size appearance, the WMC-301B, was designed to support a 3-slot ISA/PCI/PCISA backplane for half size Single Board Computer cards. One of the strongest features that this new chassis has to offer is the easy removable mobile industrial frame for one 3.5” HDD with a backplane that can be accessed from front panel. This is a must have feature that enables the replacement of the HDD for both KIOSK/ATM software upgrade or for repair to be done in a very efficient time. This becomes significant when the machines’ usage is frequent thus short downtime is considered as crucial.

The WMC-301B, was designed to support the flex-ATX power supply. Its small size allows the placement in even a very difficult corner of your machine and offers abundant ventilation sufficient to maintain suitable and comfortable in-chassis temperature for low-power system. The needs for additional functions can be satisfied through two USB ports located on the rear panel. The WMC-301B, also provides a user defined LED in addition to LEDs for system On/Off and HDD active.

All in all, the WMC-301B, offers a framework of design for OEM/ODM customers who need to modify the chassis to suit their specific needs.
