AICSYS, Inc., Taipei, Taiwan announces the release of the SBC-6301 Industrial PICMG SBC with Core 2 Duo support. Over the past year the typical Industrial Computing applications have begun to need the processing power of a Core2Duo while still requiring a rugged foot print. The SBC-6301 provides an ideal solution to just such an application. Designed around Intel’s Q965 chipset, the SBC-6301 supports Core2Duo, Pentium D, Pentium 4, and Celeron D processors with 533/800/1066MHz FSB (Socket LGA-775). Taking full advantage of the high-end processors, the SBC-6301’s system memory is expandable up to 4GB, ideal for those computing intensive applications. To further compliment the SBC-6301’s processing power, those applications which are extremely graphic intensive benefit from the Intel Graphic’s Media Accelerator 3000 Engine (integrated into the iQ965 chipset). The Graphic’s Media Accelerator utilizes up to 224MB frame buffer size which is shared with the system memory and has Integrated High Definition Audio capabilities. The SBC-6301 also has the following features:

- (4) SATA Ports (support RAID 0,1,0+1)
- (4) USB 2.0 Ports
- (1) 8-bit GPIO
- (3) RS-232 Serial Ports
