Passive & Bridged Backplanes
A Backplane is a board which works together with the SBC to provide more expansion slots, such as ISA, PCI, PCIe slots. By having such design, it enable users to add extra functions by adding add-on cards to the system. The structure of the Backplane and CPU card (SBC) means it is convenient for upgrading and maintenance of the system by just changing the CPU card and or some add on cards.
Segmented backplane allows multi-system on one backplane (ex. Dual, Quadruple and Segmentable systems backplane)
Not all Customers or System Integrators require the solution provided by our standard backplane. They may have a need for different expansion slots and in the different layout to fit their chassis or applications. AICSYS offers an OEM service to design and manufacture the backplanes for deployment into unique applications tailored to customer’s needs which may not addressed by our standard backplanes.
